We are excited about our Hometalk Facebook Live Presentation! It was my first time doing a live video and turned out to be a great experience!

2nd Part of our video on Hometalk Live
Hometalk Facebook Live is a great place to find all kinds of demonstrations on all things DIY!
I had the opportunity to demonstrate one of my most popular projects along with my husband, John. Especially because he showed me how to put together what I was dreaming up in my head! It’s lots of fun.
Ever since I was a young girl, I loved to arrange my room with a new look as often as possible.
As an adult, I’ve learned that it’s still loads of fun. In addition, if you think of decor you can make with items you have at home without spending a lot of hard earned money the creation gets better.
We created the table made from old windows after seeing all the cool things people do with windows on Pinterest. Admittedly I don’t know what gave me the idea to try making a little table from old farmhouse windows. It was an idea, and we made it work.
You may have noticed the blankets hanging in the back. That’s because we did the live video in our garage. I wasn’t thrilled with the sanding wood inside the house, plus our home is small, so it just seemed easier.
Above is the fall decor and below are ideas for Christmas. I love cutting fresh greens for inside the home. The weather has been so warm where we live, and the cannas were still blooming which finished the arrangement perfectly.
The window hanging in the back is an old sidelight window. John’s in construction and had to remove it from a customer’s home to install a new one since the corner had rotted. When I saw it, I couldn’t part with the beautiful glass. Hopefully, I can cut around the edges and hang in a new addition we are adding to our home. I’ll have some video and pictures of that project when it happens.
The china below was a gift from my Mother. She has just moved into a retirement home and had a lot of downsizing to do.
