When it comes to entertaining, I can get a little anxious because I want everything to be perfect, especially the food. Who doesn’t want to hear their guests say “Mmmm,”after their first bite of your food? Here is a step by step guide, and no slaving over the
grill either. Summer is way to hot for that, but baby back ribs are perfect for summer
Add your favorite spices
Cut the ribs in thirds or quarters
Sprinkle with onion powder and paprika
Montreal Smokehouse Maple seasoning (this is an amazing flavor to add)
Drizzle approx. 1/4 cup ketchup over each rib
Rub into the ribs and wrap 2 or 3 pieces in foil. Make a top and a bottom piece of foil about 2 inches larger than what your enclosing and wrap each end by folding over a 1/4 inch 3 times, so the juice is contained in the foil
Put Wrapped Ribs On The Grill On Low (200 degrees) For 2 Hours
The key here is to keep the grill at the low temperature and
cook the ribs till there is no pink in between ribs.
Add Pieces Of Cherry Wood For Added Flavor
Chip off pieces of wood, wrap in foil and add water then close foil.
Insert the foil pack under the grids on the grill.
Drain juices from foil packs when meat is finished cooking
Place the ribs directly on the grill and slather with barbecue sauce
Grill at a higher heat until sauce is hot and starting to brown
Turn and do the same to the other side
When ribs are ready, they should look like this! Mmmmm!
Love grilling like we do? Here’s another quick and easy meal for hot summer days. Keep the heat outside.
